Premise

Time travel is real, and all of history is vulnerable to attack. Which is why we must travel through time to stop the spread of these so-called "time aberrations" and to erase their damage to history. After going back in time to reverse a future created by a madman, we interacted with our past selves which resulted in a time storm. Now we have to ride it out until it passes so we can set things right.

We are a team of outcasts and misfits, so please don't call us heroes. We're Legends.

After their adventures in World War I era France the Legends were caught in a time storm. Their ship, the Waverider suffered heavy damage and was forced to ground in 2017 Los Angeles. They quickly discovered that something had gone very wrong.

Dinosaurs from the Cretaceous, the Roman Colosseum and the Great Wall of China all existing in the same place. Cavemen now living down the street from people who should have been from the 31st century. Horse and buggies driving next to Mercedes and everyone acting like there’s nothing wrong.

Time was broken. Time is broken; there's nothing that can be done about it. With another time jump being impossible the Legends were forced to spread out to scout the area. One by one each of them was swept up into the time stream, leaving only Gideon.

Gideon, the AI aboard the Waverider, was forced to relocate the ship via emergency protocols. Considering the state of ill repair, Gideon has no option other than to send out a beacon to call out for help where ever she can find it. After all, she's an AI trapped on a broken ship in a broken time anomaly. Nothing makes any sense.

Thankfully her sensors still work, and she's picking up on an increasing number of time aberrations, all coming from every end of the city. She increases the strength of her distress signal to guide the aberrations towards the Waverider so she can find help.

She reaches out across whatever network she can piggyback on to guide newcomers to her, using their cellphones or nearby televisions to get her message to them.

"Greetings. My name is Gideon, and if you're hearing this you've been temporarily displaced. I would like to help you, but to do so, I require your help. I'll lead you to a safe location so that you can acclimate to your new environment.
We'll do all we can to help you."

Hopefully, with luck, you can find your way through the maze of time to find Gideon so she can offer further directives.

Legends of Tomorrow: Time Trapped is a game based on the DCTV Legends of tomorrow Episode Aruba. It's a world building, action/superhero game with a touch of slice of life and exploration of time and alternate universe concepts.
